CHROMOSONIC EDITIONS

Collectible works on paper, limited editions and visual experiments. Chromosonic Editions is a collection of photographic abstractions discovered rather than constructed. During my journeys, I look for accidental compositions in the surfaces, colours, marks and textures of the world around me — fragments that, once isolated from their original context, can resemble abstract painting. The camera becomes a framing device: selecting, cropping and recontextualising something already present, transforming an overlooked visual occurrence into an autonomous image. These works explore the uncertain territory between photography and painting, found image and constructed composition, observation and abstraction. Each image is printed to order locally, signed and individually numbered as part of a limited edition of 144. Prints are supplied unframed and without borders, allowing the image to occupy the full surface of the paper. Each print also comes with four small magnets and four self-adhesive metal discs, offering a simple way to display the work directly on the wall without a conventional frame.
